Start hiding your books, folks, because they are no longer just for reading. Thanks to some highly skilled artisans, books have become an extraordinary platform for art. As you'll see below, there are some stunning pieces out there, and I want to share them with you!
Georgia Russell is a Scottish atrist who has chosen books, newspapers, music scores, and more as her platform for art. As you can see, the art literally grows out of the books.
Cara Barer is a photographer from Texas who's passion for acquiring and sculpting unused books has turned into beautiful photography.
Saving the best for last:
My favorite artist yet is Su Blackwell. Her fairy tale-inspired pieces are enchanting and truly bring the books alive.
Penelope, these are fabulous! I love them. I wanna start making book art now....uh, oh, books beware :)
